I am a theoretical physicist with a broad interest in many fields of physics. During my studies I specialised in the theory of general relativity and its application to our universe and on astrophysics. I have been working in solar physics since 2005. My expertise includes plasmas and flare physics where I dealt with particle propagation and acceleration.
Currently I am in the instrument team that designs a sub-unit of STIX, a X-ray telescope that will go into space on board of ESA's space probe Solar Orbiter in October 2018.
